The Friends of Tahoe Donner Trails annual meeting will take place at noon on Sunday, April 28 at the Clubhouse. Amongst other things, we will review last summer’s activities, discuss plans for the upcoming season, and talk generally about growing the club and offering more volunteer opportunities going forward. The meeting will be limited to club members, but membership forms will be available for anyone wishing to join. Everyone with an interest in Tahoe Donner’s trails and opens spaces is encouraged to attend the meeting and join the club.
On Thursday, April 18 at 5:30 pm, Tahoe Donner is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for the new Forestry facility. You can find more information at this link.
The Sugar Pine Foundation will be planting saplings in Tahoe Donner on April 21 and May 4. They are eager for volunteers to lend a hand. Please see this link for all the details.
Tahoe Donner’s Annie Rosenfeld is trying to arrange a “group discovery hike” in the McGlashan Springs area for June 1st, National Trails Day.
The first trail work volunteer day of the season will take place on June 22. The details are still to be determined.
